OhMyDosh Review: Earn £40+ fast
If you want some quick cash then my OhMyDosh review is going to show you how you can earn extra money fast with this cashback site.
Unlike some other cashback websites, OhMyDosh features other offers that you can sign up to earn extra money such as joining survey sites or signing up to trials with partner brands.

It’s possible to easily make £40+ – without spending any money on cashback offers – within your first few days of using OhMyDosh from my experience.

OhMyDosh quick verdict
OhMyDosh is a cashback and offers site that allows you to earn money for shopping, completing surveys and signing up to trials.
It’s a legit way to make some extra cash, with a solid user rating on Trustpilot.
I was able to make £10 – although some offers took 30 days to clear – over just a few days (most just required signing up to an offer rather than actually doing anything that took a lot of time).
One downside – for me personally – is the number of gambling offers the site plugs. There are a lot.
If that’s your cup of tea then it will work for you, but I don’t like being encouraged to sign up to those sort of online bingo and similar companies.
The biggest downside is that you can only use an offer once – so you won’t be able to sustain the earnings you may be able to make in the first month of using long-term.
You can continue to use it for cashback for your shopping – but you should always check to see if other cashback sites are offering a better rate.

Is OhMyDosh legit?
OhMyDosh is a legit way to make money and not a scam.
The money-making website has a 4.3 star Excellent rating on Trustpilot.
How does OhMyDosh work?
The main way to earn money with OhMyDosh is cashback offers. The site makes money by earning a slice of whatever amount you spend after clicking through one of its links to an online shop, such as Hamleys or Boohoo.
You then receive a percentage of that money for using their link to do your shopping. So it’s exactly the same as the better known cashback sites Quidco and TopCashback.

However you can also take out free trials and offers to boost your earnings.
You’ll only be able to use offers once, such as taking out a free trial with Simply Cook (which is really great and you should definitely try, check out my Simply Cook review here).
But when you first sign up to the website there’s plenty of ways to make money without having to spend any cash on shopping to earn cashback.
As you complete offers and earn cashback that money will be deposited in your OhMyDosh account. You can withdraw your money once you reach £10.
Some offers take 30 days to be approved, but others get approved within minutes or just three days.
Lightning offers that can pay out much quicker include a 30-day free trial with Prime Video.
What type of offers and brands are on OhMyDosh
There are a variety of different types of offers and companies partnered up with OhMyDosh for you to browse and click to earn money.
Here’s a summary of you will find on OhMyDosh.
Paid surveys
OhMyDosh is partnered up with various survey sites – some I had heard of before such as Prime Opinion and others I had not such as Surveoo.
Each survey site has a slightly different offer – some want you to just sign up for a reward whereas others want you to complete a certain number of surveys before you get any cash.
Bing and gambling
I am not a huge fan of online gambling. I think it can be a slippery slope once you get started with such companies.
But if you are able to control your usage, and simply want to sign up for the cash bonuses, then go ahead because there are plenty to choose from on OhMyDosh.
Some offers, such as MeccaBingo, require you to deposit some money before you can earn your bonus.
Trials
If you sign up to free trials and subscriptions then you will be rewarded in your OhMyDosh account.
Available offers include MyHeritage, the children’s pocket money app GoHenry, Readly and Simply Cook.
Phone and broadband
There are lots of cashback and signup incentive offers for big phone and broadband companies such as TalkTalk and 3.
You sign up and receive a cash bonus payout to your OhMyDosh account in return. Of course this requires a commitment to a new provider, so you need to think if such deals are actually worth it for you.
Energy
As I write this there aren’t tons of energy offers on OhMyDosh, likely because there’s not much savings to be made by switching companies at the moment.
But there are a few. Do consider before making any switch whether the monthly payments are actually going to save you money on your current bills or not.
Shopping
There are various well-known high street brands partnered up with OhMyDosh for cashback offers.
Online retailers you will recognise include:
- Bloom&Wild
- The Works
- LookFantastic
- The Body Shop
- Funky Pigeon
- Boots
- JD
- New Look
- Nails Inc
- Office
- Red Letter Days
- Hamleys
- AA
- Benefit
Potential no spend earnings with OhMyDosh
The No Spend earnings available to me as I write this review add up to £44.80. That doesn’t include some free offers from gambling sites – such as a free spin that doesn’t guarantee a win.
You can earn £1 within minutes just by setting up your account and confirming your email address with OhMyDosh.
Most of the other No Spend offers you can complete to earn cash have a much longer confirmation period to get the money available. Generally 30 days.
However as I said, there’s a lot you can make from the No Spend offers.
It’s a shame so many of them are gambling organisations, but if you do want to avoid any gambling companies there are other options, like signing up to free trials of things such as tastecard.
OhMyDosh pros and cons
Taking a look at OhMyDosh overall, there are a few pros and cons to be aware of if you’re planning to sign up.
Pros of OhMyDosh
- Variety of offers, with several that don’t require any spend and/or are very quick to complete
- Rate of cashback is similar to that offered by similar sites
- The layout of the site is easy to navigate, with a sidebar providing shortcuts to let you find offers by category or seek out no spend or lightning offers.
Cons of OhMyDosh
- Once you’ve completed offers you cannot do them a second time. Of course new offers may crop up but it’s worth bearing in mind you may not be able to earn consistently through the no spend options
- Potential to lose money. Don’t forget to cancel offers that ask you to sign up to a subscription. As OhMyDosh has loads of these type of offers it can be easy to lose track of what you’ve signed up to. Set reminders on your phone to cancel.
Final thoughts
OhMyDosh is a decent way to make extra money online in your own time.
It’s not my favourite money-making site – for cashback I still prefer Airtime Rewards, TopCashback and JamDoughnut.
